WPASOA - Meeting Schedule

WPASOA holds meetings to advance the referees knowledge and abilities in officiating soccer and to meet the State's 5 point Program.

We hold interpretation meetings wherein law changes and points of emphasis are presented, meetings geared to annual certification testing and review of the answers, clinics on various topics, and presentation of sectional playoff information. Elections are held at our business meeting, the final meeting of the year, at which time we also collect membership dues for the following year.

Officials MUST attend one WPASOA interpretation meeting or Board approved alternate
(Dutchess, Rockland, NYC).
All other meetings are MANDATORY.

The State's 5 Point Program:
1. Observe the constitution and bylaws of our local board and the
    state association (NYSCOS)
2. Attend interpretation meetings and clinics
3. Give evidence of proficiency in officiating
4. Pass the NFHS rules exam
5. Be listed with the NYSPHSSA executive director and the NYSCOS secretary
    (the association does this for its members).
