OFFICIALS 5 POINT PLAN
Each official MUST:

1) observe the constitution and bylaws of his/her local board and state association (NYSCOS).
2) attend interpretation meetings and clinics of the local board each year.
3) give satisfactory evidence of proficiency in the mechanics of officiating and of competent performance related to the specific sport.
4) pass the NFHS rules exam.
5) Be listed with the NYSPHSSA executive director and the NYSCOS secretary.
